Thank you truthseeker for your comments. They must come from beyond yourself, because I feel the same way.

Wanting to share the reason for my name change, I'll try to make this brief - ha ha.

First, I've wanted to give up sisterri for quite some time, but wasn't sure what name to use. It wasn't "sister Ri," as Citizen X thought, but "sis Terri." :P I came up with the name "think-differently" from two sources, different, but similar. Back in the late 1990's, whatever year Bill Clinton got himself into such trouble, my children had given me a little wooden plack that said, "Lord give me the patience to endure my blessings." Originally I crossed off "dure" and added "joy," (enjoy my blessings). I also, at some point, wrote "Thank you, God - I love you. T" on the front of the plack. It was on the back, in the same pen that'd changed "dure," that I wrote, "Think Differently," and began to with "Quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to become angry." In the same pen that I wrote "Thank you" on the back, I'd crossed through "Quick" and added "Willing," (Willing to listen). I'm not sure why I still have this little 2" x 4" plack, except that the first time I heard Ron say those two words together and then say it was the meaning of repent. I was quite impressed. From Strong's - "metanoeo met-an-o-eh'-o From G3326 and G3539; to think differently or afterwards, that is, reconsider (morally to feel compunction): - repent." I am truly amazed - that was the first time I looked up the word. :D Okay, now I have three sources.

Oops, reread what I'd written (glasses always seem to help). I changed "Quick to listen" to "Be willing to listen."

Greetings!, I am new to this site and quite like it, but I've noticed a few that are a few that are illinformed on certain subjects so I was hoping some light might be able to be shone on them.
When Jesus arrived on earth he condemned all religions, especially the one even God gave-[Judaism], while he may have had a meek manor as a person he taught with authority, [an example to his Apostles, future ministers etc.], so if someone seems harsh in what advice they give to someone on christianity they are probably only doing their best to show love[Agape-Greek-God's love].God is exact in his judgements , and in all things, so if something needs pointing out that is evil it is indeed pointed out,
link said,[quote]Father is only a word, and a statue of Jesus is only a statue.
While this may be true in some respects, link is speaking in a purely physical way and this is why the followers of Jesus, pre-Pentecost, could not understand him, i.e. John 3:4-6, The bible is a coded book, and without first being baptized into God's true Church one cannot see it's true message, just like Nicodemus who was a supposed great teacher in Israel.
So, Jesus was saying not to call anyone your spiritual Father, and a statue of Jesus IS AN IDOL, and God warns sternly about worshiping them in any way.
This 'Father' character appears to be around for the wrong reasons, [saving his butt], and not faithfully following Yahweh, the one true God.
I hope I have helped in some way here.

Thanks think-differently. I tried to send two other posts but they didn't make it. I also wrote under ts but forgot to mention it earlier. Love your name and how after I found God's true church it makes sense.

Thank you, Gerald for your insight. My main concern, when I responded, was that he and others like him was/would purposely mislead readers in thinking that what he wrote was the way Ronald Weinland and the Church of God teaches and believes. I don't mind people writing what they think or believe, but to try and imply that was the way RW teaches is wrong and deceptive. Many may not be aware that the enemy has hated and sought to destroy God's true church since the first century and will continue until the return of Christ. Some say that the son of perdition was an implant by the enemy. If we research where his father was from and how they work (the enemy) we will see that it is plausible. When I say enemy of God I mean anyone who is against God's truth and his true church but as we know through history (and the bible) there is a conspiracy of a group to destroy God's church. So there might be individuals who just hate Armstrong or Weinland but there is also a conspiracy that we should be aware of. I might be going too far but we should be aware. For others who are just researching I would say research everything without prejudice and pray for the Holy Sprit to guide you. The information is out there to allow you to understand if The Spirit guides you.

this is a short version of what one man wrote. Read the article, research the man, how he died and others like him. Very intresting in other interveiws he talks about the importance of the seventh day sabbath, exspecially if you take into consideration where he came from, what he knew and what he did. Also read the long version that is in a form of a comic strip, it will shock you.

truthseeker,

1 John 4 = 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

I was given a bracelet for baptism that was engraved with the reference 1 John 4:4. Slowly but surely I've come to know it and accept it as truth. Remember this. :)

the jesuits also sunk the titanic supposidly because the rich who were on it had an influnce in deciding about the federal reserves. from what i studied about them they have an oath that would shock anybody, the are the popes minyuns and are in every aspect of politics and so forth. there goal is to infultrate and then take over. it is amazing how many whistle blowers come out and expose corrupt people. i know conspiricy theroes are not to be a subject to waist time on but a lot have to do with biblical prophecy. i think thses topics show us alittle of our history, the hostory thats not taught in school.

for instance if anyone googles capturing your strawman, the would see what happened in the cival war and how our god given writes where taken away. if these things are true then they are worth looking into.

i have a question for curiouse, i am not lookin to discredit rw but i would like to know where in any of his sermons does it not line up with the bible. i see he is so accurate its mindboggeling. thats the king james version?

the important thing for me was that the conspiracies that I studied help me to understand some truths. They were part of my journey to Truth. They were a means to an end not the end it's self. It is always interesting to study these or any history, but most get stuck and don't want to get out. They can't break through to the most ultimate Truth. For myself it was a kind of addiction, and so it watching tv, or what ever you can do that takes to much time away from what we are trying to do, since time is short. This is a issue that I have been corrected for time and time again.

The Weinland Window - Ronald Weinland and the Final Test of a Prophet
August 30, 2008 by Citizen X

We are nearing the end of the year. Israel’s trigger finger grows more itchy by the day. America’s future hangs in the balance. Rogue nations and enemy countries stand at the gates.

And Ronald Weinland’s words remain. The name of his book was “Endtime 2008 - Gods Final Witness”. Regardless of what has happened in the past, this is make or break time.

I had wished to have this resolved by now. However, as I stated before, there is still a possibility that Ronald Weinland is truly a prophet of God. There is a possibility he erred in predicting events prematurely, just as there is a possibility God was using his mistake to test the faith of the people.

Ronald Weinland has declared the final timing of the events prophesied in “The Prophesied End-Time” and “Endtime 2008 - Gods Final Witness”. The events are listed below:

* September 30 - 1335 Days
* November 14 - 1290 Days
* December 14 - 1260 Days

According to this timeline, December 14 is the key date. That is when, according to Ronald Weinland, Great Tribulation begins. He is also standing by his statement that there will be no new president sworn into office. Those are several verifiable predictions.

In the coming days, weeks, and months, we will further examine world events and how/if/whether they fit into Ronald Weinland’s predicted timeline. Regardless of the test of his validity, however, the world is still in deep, deep chaos. Russia has recently awakened from it’s slumber and has begun to lash out at neighboring countries. Only a week ago they threatened Poland with a nuclear attack.

Weather conditions continue to deteriorate rapidly as well. As of this writing, Hurricane Gustav has just been upgraded to a Category 4.

Only time will tell if Ronald Weinland is a true or false prophet. The year 2008 is quickly running out. The Weinland Window will be closing soon. The Final Test of a Prophet begins.

Citizen X -
That picture is horrific. Yet it is closer to reality then any of us want to believe. Just think, that is only one city. Yes,the Thunders that are leading up to this are becoming louder and louder. All I can say is 1365 days can not come soon enough (I'm counting the days from this post). We still take it one day at a time though.
So Thankful
